Triton's Letter - Christmas Wish 2025

Dear Andy,

In September 2025, shortly after Triton turned a year old, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Prior to his diagnoses he was the happiest little baby. He just learned how to walk, run and was able to play outside with his brother and sister. He loved to bounce, jump and dance. Now we are lucky to see him smile. When Triton first started his treatments in September, he developed a bad chemo rash on his backside that took 3-4 weeks to heal. Ever since then he has lost all ability to walk and stand up on his own. Most days he cries when you just touch him because the pain is just so unbearable. On his good days, Triton still enjoys being outside with his brother Emersyn and sister Amelia. They take turns pushing him around in our broken power wheel, and he enjoys every second of it. Triton is now coming into his 3rd phase of treatment which includes us being inpatient at the hospital for 28 days. We hope to be discharged in time to be home for Christmas, but will miss Thanksgiving and sissy’s birthday. Cancer is truly a thief. This journey has been a rollercoaster that no one should ever have to ride. We are now a one income family, with many home repairs that need to be done to provide a safe and stable environment for our family. This opportunity to make sure Triton and siblings have a special Christmas this year was the biggest blessing we could have received. With things the way they are, we honestly had no idea how we were going to able to pull off Christmas this year. We are so very grateful for the love, prayers and support we are receiving from our community in this time of need.

Triton loves the Gummy Bear movie, being pushed in our big wheel, his bouncy and playing with balls.Triton’s sister is Amelia is six years old and likes arts and crafts, coloring, unicorns and mermaids. His brother Emersyn is four years old and loves to fish, dinosaurs, and trucks. Mom and dad would like a gift card to help with home repairs and need a space heater.
