Travel Woes- Leaving Your Toddler's Toy Behind

Trust me. When you leave your child's favorite toy behind on a trip, you'll do anything to get it back.

(We once drove an extra 50 miles or so to retrieve Miz Beans from a hotel room. Photo below)

After leaving the Holiday Inn Express in Richmond, Virginia, a family discovered that their 4 year old son had left his snuggle puppy behind.

They contacted hotel employees who found the stuffed animal and promised to return it. But not before they had some fun with it.

Employees took pictures of the snuggle puppy around the hotel-- on the computer, greeting guests in the lobby, on an exercise bike, and tucked into bed-- and documented his adventures in an email.

The toddler’s Dad, Michael, said the pictures really helped ease his son’s pain of the missing toy (while he waited for it to arrive in the mail).

It's definitely a feel-good story... and almost 4 million people have seen it on X.
