COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) - A vehicle under pursuit by the Colleton County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) ended with a crash on Wednesday.
CCSO said in a Facebook post that deputies responded to a report of shots fired at an address off of Sniders Highway. Upon arrival, a person fled from the area in a vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop when signaled by authorities, and a vehicle chase ensued.
That chase ended with the pursued vehicle crashing near Azalea Patch and Sniders Highway. CCSO urges residents to avoid the area until the area has been cleared. The Colleton County Fire-Rescue is currently assisting.
There have been no reported injuries at the residence. This remains an active investigation.
