In honor of Animal Planet’s upcoming Puppy Bowl XIII at GEICO Stadium, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED asked readers to send in photos of their own pups watching football or rooting on their favorite team—and they responded. Because if there’s one thing Americans love, it’s dogs; but if there’s two things we love, it’s dogs and football. You sent in photos of dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds from all over the country, in Patriots gear or Colts bandanas—and even several “rufferees.” For all their differences, these dogs are united by their love of the game… or their tolerance of their owners’ love of the game… or, at least, their enjoyment of chewing on toy footballs. And if these pups are older than the young guns in the official Puppy Bowl lineup, that just means they have more veteran savvy. The Puppy Bowl festivities start on February 5 on Animal Planet with a "Tail"gate pregame show at 2 p.m. ET. The main event kicks off at 3 p.m. ET.
