Looking for a new home? How about Sting's Central Park Penthouse?

Sting and wife Trudie Styler are selling their Robert A.M. Stern-designed 15 Central Park West apartment for $56 million. The Sumner's bought the property back in 2008 for $27 million, with the apartment comprising of the 16th and 17th floor penthouse. According to BusinessInsider.com, the couple "then enlisted architecture and interior design firm SheltonMindel to combine the units and transform them into a 'unique home' that includes two custom sculptural spiral staircases and a double-sided spiral gas fireplace that was inspired by the Fibonacci Spiral."

The listing boasts, "5,400 square feet of interior space, four bedrooms, and 44 feet of frontage along Central Park." Sting and Styler were in negotiations last summer to buy another condo in a Stern-designed building at 220 Central Park South. Part of the reason for Sting's family moving is due to his ever growing-brood. Sting, who now 65, says that he's totally comfortable in the role of "grandpa": "I will have six grandchildren, and stupidly, I never anticipated any -- even though I had six kids. It wasn't the sort of thing that was in my thinking or my purview -- and then lo and behold, I'm this patriarch -- which I have to say, I think I'm rather enjoying. They treat me well and they're very fond of me. I'm probably a better grandfather than I was a dad."
