GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE LIVE (12p ET, Science Channel) — The Science Channel will air coverage of the eclipse live from Madras, Oregon, one of the first land-based locations to see it. Then at 9p ET tonight, the network will have a one-hour eclipse wrap-up special, The Great American Eclipse, hosted by NASA astronaut Mike Massimino, with same-day footage.

ECLIPSE ACROSS AMERICA: THROUGH THE EYES OF NASA (12p ET, NASA TV) — NASA’s TV channel and website will have a four-hour broadcast that features views of the eclipse from NASA research aircraft, high-altitude balloons, satellites and specially modified telescopes, as well as reports from locations along the eclipse’s path of totality.

ABC NEWS SPECIAL: THE GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE (1p ET, ABC) — ABC News host David Muir is in Charleston, South Carolina, for this 2-hour live coverage special of the eclipse. Chief meteorologist Ginger Zee will report from Nashville, and meteorologist Rob Marciano will be in Lincoln Beach, Oregon. Plus, a team will be at various points across the country.

ECLIPSE SPECIAL (1p ET, CBS) — Anthony Mason anchors this 2-hour special from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill., the closest city to the point of the greatest duration of the eclipse. Mason will be joined by astronaut Scott Kelly, astronomer Michelle Nichols, Planetary Radio host Mat Kaplan, physicist Bob Baer, and others.t
