He asks her to marry him in the middle of a 13,000 foot jump

SAFRICA-AVIATION-CHARITY

A skydiver proposed to his girlfriend while they were descending towards the ground from 16,000 feet. Rahim Hajir cooked up the plan to pop the question mid-air, keeping the ring clutched tightly between his teeth the whole time. Fiancée Kaitlyn Roule was none the wiser until Rahim revealed the ring as they plummeted to earth after leaping from a plane above the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Rahim admitted that taking the ring on the skydive was a risky move and had a backup just in case he dropped it.

… Rahim, a professional skydiver and trainee pilot, said: “I wanted the proposal to be out of this world. I didn’t want a usual proposal like hiding a ring in a cake or champagne glass.” Kaitlyn said, “We have a child together so I thought that was it, I wasn’t expecting a proposal at all because we hadn’t talked about getting engaged. We only decided to go last minute that day because it was good weather for it. I was so shocked and completely in awe, my heart jumped out of my chest.”
