Superstition might help you score a set of seats to yourself on your next flight. Chelsea Dickenson, who runs CheapHolidayExpert.com, explained in a TikTok post that you should book a window and an aisle seat in row 13 (when traveling with someone else), as it’s not a popular row. The theory is that passengers are less likely to book a seat in between two strangers, and are even less likely to book row 13 due to believing the number is unlucky.
