A Kroger customer in Cincinnati got a heck of a surprise when he was charged over $4000 each for three oranges he bought.
We've all had things right up wrong, but usually it's only a few dollars or cents.
Chase Dillingham's purchase bounced his checking account. He said he noticed some bills weren't being paid...because there was nothing in his account.
Fortunately he spoke to the store manager who apologized and started the refund process. Kroger went the extra step by making a donation to a local non-profit where Dillingham volunteers, as a courtesy for the trouble he experienced.
