Check out the New Jersey city that has a cardboard Christmas Tree

Some people don’t know what to think when tradition is changed. A fresh-cut, natural Christmas tree is usually displayed in the Grand Arcade at Convention Hall on Asbury Park, New Jersey’s historic boardwalk. But this year, a large cardboard tree called “The Giving Tree” sits in that spot instead. The sculpture incorporates elements of the seashore, the city’s architecture, and it’s musical heritage, and is designed to be recycled after it is dismantled. Some locals love it, saying it’s “creative” and “interesting,” while others say, “it looks like an Amazon package” and that it’s, “creative, but not festive at all.”
