Habitat for Humanity has built its first 3D-printed house in Williamsburg, Virginia, and the organization just handed over the keys toApril Stringfieldand her young son. Habitat builds homes and then sells them to moderate-income families at zero profit with a zero-interest mortgage, plus some hours of sweat equity by the buyer. In this case, much of the sweat equity was provided by a 3D printer.
