An American Airlines flight from Miami had to turn around on tonight after a disruptive passenger refused to wear a mask, the airline said. American Airlines Flight 38 was heading to London with 129 passengers on board when it had to turn back.
The woman would not wear her mask even after being offered a variety of different masks to select from; then she got abusive with the staff, so the pilot opted to return to the airport, changing the plans for 128 passengers who were not happy that one woman could be so selfish.
Upon arriving at the airport, the woman was met by police, but reports indicate she was not arrested.
