_ A television reporter in Huntington, West Virginia was doing a live shot on a water main break when she got quite the shock after being hit by a car. The reporter, Tori Yorgey, was running her own live shot — meaning she was by herself and didn’t have a cameraman or producer on scene with her — when the turning car knocked her over from behind as she was speaking on the air. •VIDEO
… Thankfully, Tori bounced right up and assured everybody she was fine, even telling the driver of the car she was “so sweet” and that it was “all good.” And it turns out that the reason Tori managed to handle it so well might be that she’s had experience with the situation before. As she was getting up from the ground, she told viewers: “I actually got hit by a car in college too just like that.”
