In Sunday's episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Pat Sajak asked Tatyana Ali to explain to viewers who Benedict Cumberbatch was, for those who didn’t know. Ali responded, "Benedict Cumberbatch is an actor, right?" Sajak laughed and said, "I didn't have the answer so I pretended like I was just saying, 'So tell us. I, of course, know it but you tell us.' And that was a little host trick." Sajak then added, "My apologies, Mr. Cumberbatch. But I spend a lot of time in my basement. I have no idea what's going on."
It wasn't a joke, he really didn't know. After the commercial break he made a phone call and you can see that below....
