A 64-year-old Massachusetts man feels lucky to be alive after he escaped injury when a huge chunk of concrete crashed through his windshield. Leonard Brown was driving on Route 28 in Somerville when the concrete suddenly fell from an overpass onto his vehicle. He thought it was a big chunk of ice at first, but realized it was concrete when he got out to examine the damage. Brown, who is visiting Massachusetts so his wife can undergo cancer treatments, said he was grateful she wasn't in the car at the time.
