You better be absolutely sure an Apple device is dead before handing it over to a toddler. A couple in Michigan posted a video to Facebook showing their three-year-old’s nap time conversation with a 9-1-1 operator after they allowed him to play with what they thought was an inoperative Apple Watch. Leon Hendrix posted the video, saying he allowed the young boy to play with the watch because it was Mickey Mouse-themed. His wife Andrea said she was working from home during the nap time, and heard the unusual conversation over the baby monitor. The parents realized the conversation had gone on for seven minutes before they ran in to see what was happening. They say the child is still allowed to play with the watch, but only on airplane mode and only while under their direct supervision. They also apologized to the 9-1-1 dispatchers.
