Sunroof left open in 63-degree weather lets 9 inches of snow into minivan

In the northeast, a warm day in February is enough to make some people forget it’s still winter. Steve Maguire of Scituate, Massachusetts, left the sunroof on his family’s minivan open in 63-degree weather on Saturday (February 12th) with the windows down to enjoy the record high temperatures. But it snowed on Sunday (February 13th). Maguire says he didn’t realize until returning to the vehicle on Monday (February 14th) that he had left the sunroof open, allowing about nine inches of snow to accumulate inside. Maguire says, “This could only happen in New England. I’m grateful it wasn’t rain, and it was super easy to clean up because it was so light and fluffy.”
