It's been remarkably quick how over the last week since Russia invaded so many nations have joined together on tough sanctions against Russia and begun to go after Russian oligarchs close to Putin and their wealth. But it's gone beyond the political and economic worlds to the cultural realm too, with sports barring Russian athletes, Russian media blocked, and now even down to the International Cat Federation banning Russian cats from international competitions. The federation decreed that no cats bred in Russia can be imported or registered in any federation pedigree book outside Russia and no cat belonging to exhibitors living in Russia may be entered at any federation show outside the country.
