Imagine seeing a big cat walk around your neighborhood in pure daylight. Residents in Selma, California, were warned after a mountain lion was spotted wandering near Country Club Lane and Mill Street early Monday (March 1st). The animal wandered through yards for several hours before climbing onto the front porch of a home. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife tranquilized the cougar when it trapped itself in a resident’s courtyard, and it was brought to a veterinarian for examination before being released back into the wild in Kings National Forest.
