Man prevented from graduating over $4.80 fee gets a diploma 60 years later

78-Year-Old Ted Sams finally attended his high school graduation after 60 years.

Sams was prevented from graduating in 1962 because of a $4.80 fine on his record for a book he failed to return.

Sams finally accepted his diploma at the 2022 San Gabriel High School graduation ceremony.
