A North Carolina teenage girl experianced a shocking Lyft ride after getting off of work. Eziya Bowden says her Lyft driver started to make her feel uncomfortable shortly after getting picked up by making inappropriate comments such as, "How many boys flirted with you?" or "Oh, you just look good. I would date you if you weren't so young."
Acorrding to ABC13, things escalated for the worse when the driver sprayed something in the car that started to make Bowden feel dizzy. The 17 year old girl, after fearing for her safety, opened the car door and jumped out of the moving car. The driver turned around and call the police, pretending to be a bystander. The incident left her with scarring on her face and body but surprisingly, no broken bones. Lyft removed the driver from the app and gave Bowden a refund but she doesn't see herself using Lyft or Uber ever again.
