Why an Atlanta policeman bought a man a new suit of clothes and shoes

Atlanta Police Officer J. Nguyen thought outside the box when he was called to the scene of a recent incident. Nguyen and rookie Officer Y. Prophete responded to a public indecency complaint. On arriving, they realized that the man was exposing himself only because his clothing didn’t fit. Officer Nguyen purchased a new set of clothes and shoes for the man. The Atlanta Police Department praised his actions: "Newly sworn Ofc. Prophete had a different kind of training day, witnessing what it means to be an APD officer in real time," a spokesperson wrote on Facebook. "We could not be prouder of Ofc. Nguyen."
