A San Francisco art gallery owner has been arrested after spraying a garden hose on a homeless woman who regularly camps out near the entrance to his store. He has said that he grew increasingly frustrated after numerous calls to police and social services led to only short-term solutions. The woman was taken away for a day or two of care, and then returned to his street. The homeless woman is reported to have behavioral problems, including shouting obscenities.
