What would you do to survive in the wilderness? Jhonatan Acosta visited the Amazon rainforest with a group, but found himself lost on January 25th. After a month surviving off insects and collecting rainwater in his boots, Acosta was finally rescued.
Acosta reportedly lost over 37 pounds throughout the ordeal and walked about 25 miles total, but he was likely walking in circles. He claims he hid from jaguars, dislocated his ankle, and got into a fight with a wild pig.
If the story is confirmed, he will be among those to survive alone in the Amazon for the longest amount of time.
