A 33-year-old man who goes by "Donny Skipper" online claims he's being evicted for exposing terrible living conditions in his upstate New York apartment building.
Donny posted a series of videos showing broken elevators, flooding, and even a bat hanging around The Lofts at Harmony Mills in Cohoes. He says his rent is $1,879 per month for this "luxury" apartment. After some of his TikToks went viral, Donny claims his landlord informed him that his lease would not be renewed, and he has three months to leave.
"They shouldn’t be able to market these poorly maintained buildings as luxury," he said.
The Lofts website promises a "unique combination of luxury, style and convenience."
