MAN SAYS ‘FIND MY iPHONE’ APP CAUSING ANGRY RESIDENTS TO COME TO HIS HOUSE

A guy in the Houston area said Apple has made a serious mistake — because dozens of residents have showed up at all hours, claiming he has their stolen iPhone. Scott Schuster, who has lived in his home since 2018, said this has been going on every few months over the last few years. People show up, knock on his door at all hours, and claim their missing iPhone is at his home. Except every single person has been wrong. Most of the people who show up are visibly upset or frustrated. One person caught on his doorbell camera even threatened to call the police.

… Schuster says he’s reached out to Apple about the Find My iPhone glitch but they haven’t been any help.
