When his mom lost her hair to cancer, Matt Shaha knew just what to do

When Matt was in school he was required to have short hair. But when he graduated, he got to grow it out but for a good reason.

His mom had lost her hair during radiation treatments for cancer. So Matt said he would grow it out to make a wig for her.

She said she doesn't mind being or looking sick, but she wants to blend in and not stand out at the store.

It took Matt 2 1/2 years to get his hair the length needed for the wig. "She gave me the hair in the first place," he said.

The hair was sent to Compassionate Creations who created the wig for $2000, and Matt paid the bill.

Seeing her in the wig, Matt said it was the first time he'd seen her since she lost her hair. This is such an amazing story of a son's love for his mother.
