For those old enough to remember, Cheers was a weekly escape to a place “where everybody knows your name”. Filled with memorable characters like Sam, Carla, Norm, Cliff, Frasier, Woody, and Diane, the show had a similar constant: the bar itself, which starred in all 270+ episodes. It’s now up for auction.
… Split into three sections to allow for filming behind the bar, it’s made of Luan wood, studio-painted with faux woodgrain, with brass rail armrests and attached brass rail footrests. Six walnut wooden bar stools covered in red leatherette with brass foot rails are also included, along with five walnut wooden set walls, six brass light fixtures, the original bar black touchtone phone, a Boston area telephone book, and more. The cash register and a player piano are being offered separately.
