A guy on social media shared that as he was returning a pair of shorts to REI, the clerk sniffed the crotch before accepting them as a return.
Steven posted this on Tiktok, pretty embarrassing especially for the store. Someone claiming to be from corporate saw it and wrote:
I’m at corporate and this was an immediate send to my team. They probably forgot they were at the store.
