Recently someone spotted this on the marquis at the Rincon Subway on Highway 21 and shared it online.
Social media lit up like a fire. On the sign it said: "Our subs don't implode," a reference to the recent accident of the Titan sub destined to check out the Titanic that killed five onboard.
No question that the consensus indicated this was in bad taste. It was shared on Reddit with thousands of comments, with many posing the question of how soon is too soon?
The sign has since been removed.
