This year, the Imagination Library is celebrating the gifting of 200 million books worldwide since its inception in 1995! Since you regularly report on events that impact the people of the Lowcountry and Coastal Empire, I wanted to share how this partnership impacts literacy and early childhood development right here in our community.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a remarkable early childhood book-gifting program that mails a high-quality, free book each month to children worldwide. LowCountry Community Church is the exclusive partner for the Imagination Library in Beaufort County, SC. Since we partnered in January 2022, we have had the opportunity to enroll 3300 kids and give away 42,000 books locally.
