A baby orangutan was just born at a United Kingdom zoo...and you can help pick his name!
The June 2023 birth gives hope to the critically endangered Bornean orangutans. Only about 100,000 are alive in the wild.
"The arrival of this very special baby is wonderful news, not just for us here at Blackpool Zoo, but for the species too," Zoo Director Darren Webster said.
This is mother Jingga's first baby. The baby's father, Kawan, is a very popular male among the females.
