A heated debate has arisen online after a Gen Z worker informed their boss that they couldn't attend an early meeting due to a gym class. The employer, expressing anger, sought advice on whether the worker should be allowed to skip the 8 a.m. meeting.
According to The New York Post, podcast hosts Natalie Marie and Ross Pomerantz sided with the boss, criticizing the employee for prioritizing a workout over work.
However, many Gen Z individuals defended the worker, emphasizing the importance of maintaining work-life balance and not being obligated to work outside designated hours.
The disagreement highlighted differing perspectives on professional expectations and personal commitments.
