One way to get a brand new roof: if the contractors remove yours by mistake

A $30,000 mistake by a roofing company was a blessing for an Edmond, Oklahoma, couple. Deborah and Scott Senner were out of town and received a call from Graco Roofing & Constructions LLC, saying they’d accidentally taken their roof off instead of their neighbors.

A Graco employee used GPS to get materials to the house, in northwest Oklahoma City, but didn't check the address on the Senners' mailbox. The house actually needing a new roof was down the street. "They just got to work, tearing off that roof, going to town," Gray said.

To apologize, the company replaced the entire roof for free. The pair shared the funny story with Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall. The couple says the company did a great job and now fully recommend them for the quality of their work!

And despite Mr. Gray’s roof goof, the couple actively recommends his services to anyone looking to replace their roof—for both the quality, and more importantly, the honesty.

Scott mentioned that if they hadn’t received the call, they probably wouldn’t have even noticed the new roof after they got back.

And despite Mr. Gray’s roof goof, the couple actively recommends his services to anyone looking to replace their roof—for both the quality, and more importantly, the honesty.
