The Easter season has brought about a heartwarming surprise as Louie the Raccoon from Miami, Florida, became the first of his kind to be crowned this year’s Cadbury Bunny. The 2-year-old rescued pet captured the hearts of voters on Instagram with his charming face and talent for painting, all in support of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centers. Louie’s owner, Jaime, took him in when he was determined unfit for life in the wild.
Louie beat out 31 other animals from across the country including a goat, mini horse, and even bearded dragons. In a March Madness-style competition, the championship round featured Louie against a rescue cat from New York named Loki.
“They definitely gave us a run for our money,” said Louie’s mom Jaime Arslan. “They were a very fierce competitor.”
… The announcement marks the sixth annual Cadbury Bunny Tryouts, with Louie set to star in the 2025 Cadbury Bunny Tryouts commercial.
One of the animals in the running for this year's contact was RedBird who happens to be a blind guinea pig and he was getting alot of votes around Pittsburgh.
