A 7-year-old girl’s lemonade stand helped her to raise nearly $10,000 for her mother’s headstone. Emouree Johnson, whose mother died suddenly at 29 years old last month, was selling lemonade for $1 and when a social media post went viral about the cause for her lemonade stand, members of her Alabama community stopped by to purchase lemonade and left extra tips for her hard work. Some neighbors even gave Emouree $100 bills for the lemonade. A couple of headstone companies have stepped forward to donate a headstone to the family, who can now put the funds towards other expenses.
