An incredible piece of luck for a woman who fought her way through breast cancer — hitting big by just scratching a ticket.
Donna Osborne from Pennsylvania had just finished radiation treatment for breast cancer and headed to the airport to visit family in Florida. Due to several flight delays and complications, she decided to head home, stopping at a gas station on the way where she bought a scratch-off ticket and won $5 million!
Donna, a 75-year-old woman from Lancaster County, was presented with a $5 million check from the PA Lottery Thursday morning in Middletown. She said she was stunned when she realized she won big.
