Jelly Roll sings this song for a fan celebrating 7 years of sobriety

During a recent show, Jelly Roll's "Winning Streak" wasn't in the setlist, but he made a decision and performed it after he saw a fan holding up a very special sign.

A man standing in the front row of Jelly's crowd was holding up a sign saying he's celebrating his seventh year of sobriety. The singer took notice, and celebrated the milestone right along with him.

"Those are the kind of signs and the kind of stories that inspire me," the singer said from the stage, saying they're also what inspired him to address lawmakers about the fentanyl epidemic in the U.S. back in January of this year.

"I promise you, as long as God gives me this stage, I will always speak for those who are not spoken for," Jelly continued. "I will always be a voice of the voiceless. I will always be a representative of the underdogs and the have-nots. I promise you, baby, I will never let us down."

He went on to introduce "Winning Streak" as a song about "a man who's experiencing his first day sober." The song comes off his upcoming album, Beautifully Broken, and he debuted it during his Saturday Night Live performance last month.
