Stevie Nicks SNL appearance was the third time featured on the show. Watch!

Stevie Nicks had nothing really to promote other than a song reflecting her feelings about the current state of women in the country. It also was not her first SNL appearance.

Before her second performance with "Edge Of Seventeen," fans spotted something was amiss. After a landslide of internet comments, it turns out there was indeed a technical issue that was resolved quickly. Before Ariana Grande could introducer her, fans noticed a Nicks billboard on screen with no audio for almost a minute until the technical issue was attended to and then jumped into a commercial break.

Shortly after, the iconic guitar intro from “Edge of Seventeen” began, and you can see Nick fiddling with her mic pack on her right side, but ultimately didn’t affect the singer’s performance.

Stevie's first appearance was 41 years ago to sing her current hit "Stand Back" after wrapping her tour for her album “The Wild Heart.” The night’s host was comedian Flip Wilson.(Remember him?)

But do you remember a sketch for Stevie Nick's Fajita Roundup? It was a hilarious parody that aired in 1998 with Xena Warrior Princess, Lucy Lawless who dressed just like Nicks. And it was funny to us, but Lucy tried to get the sketch killed since she's from down under and had no idea why it was funny.

“I did not get the joke, Not being from America, barely having ever eaten proper Mexican food, or Tex-Mex or anything.” In fact, Lawless brought her concerns all the way to the show’s creator, Lorne Michaels. “I said, ‘Oh, Lorne, like—mate, you know, it’s not funny. Just, please, please, just drop it. No harm, no foul,’” Lawless said. “[Lorne was] like, ‘No, no, no. I think it’s a keeper here. I think it’s a keeper. It’s going to do good.'” And it was. See for yourself and try not to laugh. Below are some videos including Stevie's performance from this weekend's SNL.
