Georgia Sheriff calls for backup when getting the wrong Burger King order

A video posted by David Cavender seems to depict Georgia officers providing backup to Sheriff Craig Owens Sr. after a Burger King gave him the wrong order. The sheriff reportedly was given an incorrect order and the fast food employees refused to replace it. He then allegedly asked deputies to come and get the name of the facility’s owner. While some accuse the sheriff of abusing his power, Sheriff Owens was not in uniform and claims he did what any citizen would have done. “At no point did I indicate my position, nor did I ask the responders to do anything that they would not, had not, or have not done for anyone else who makes a business dispute call,” Sheriff Owens said.
