Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will return to ABC in the 2024–2025 season and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day. The show will be hosted by Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, co-founders of The Home Edit

The original Extreme Makeover: Home Edition ran on ABC from 2003–2012, hosted by Ty Pennington. It was briefly revived in 2020 for a season on HGTV.
You may recall that 14 years ago, the original program came to both Savannah and Beaufort within weeks of each other to build new homes for families. The Savannah home was sold by the Simpson family shortly after they moved in, but the Dickinsons, the military family for whom the Beaufort house was built (they had a young daughter dealing with the effects of asthma from mold and mildew of the house they were living in) still lives there.
