This video took place Saturday as Best Friends coordinated flying 84 cats and dogs out of Los Angeles to their headquarters in Utah to make more space at the shelters as well as keep those animals safe from potential health issues created by the wildfires.
Join us as we load up 84 animals who are getting ready to take flight from Burbank Airport to safety. ✈️ Thanks to our collaborative efforts with Wings of Rescue and Angel City Pit Bulls, dogs and cats are headed to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah where they no longer have to worry about the devastating LA wildfires. This is what teamwork looks like! 👏 Best Friends’ emergency response team is on the ground in Los Angeles, offering help and support to other local animal welfare organizations while also working to ensure the safety of our own pets and staff in our Pet Adoption Center.
