She loves food but Martha Stewart says this is the one thing she WON'T eat

You’re not likely to find this on Martha's dinner table.

Visiting Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday she was there to chat about working with Chef José Andrés on their new NBC show, Yes, Chef! praising Andrés as “one of the most sweet human beings in the world.”

“And he’s also very funny,” Stewart added. “And he’s also very annoying.”

Stewart went on to recall that Andrés noticed that there were raccoons “around” while they were shooting the show.

“They were on the roof,” she explained. “You can hear them walking on the roof.”

She said security cameras captured images of raccoons in the pantry of the show’s set prior to when they began filming but once they saw the video they got rid of them.

Meyers wanted to make sure she wasn’t referring to the ingredients in the dishes made by the 12 chefs competing on the series, but Stewart assured him she wasn’t. However, the conversation prompted her to look back on a memorable dinner party she attended, where the animal was one of the main courses.

The event was a “raccoon and chicken supper.”

“You really went?” Meyers asked. “Did you try the raccoon?”

“No,” she told the talk show host. “But everybody else did.”

When Meyers asked if the other guests seemed happy with the meal, she replied, “Yeah, they loved it.”

“And you still wouldn’t try it?” Meyers asked.

“No, I don’t like to eat rare things,” she noted. “They’re rare on the table,” she clarified, when Meyers pointed out that the animal isn’t “that rare.”
