The winner of the inaugural Wienie 500 race held Friday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was the Wienermobile known as the “Slaw Dog,” representing the Southeast region. It made a decisive final pass against the “Chi Dog” (Midwest) in the last stretch to take the checkered flag.… … Drivers of the Slaw Dog were Grill Master Matthew Bailey from Madison, Georgia, and Mustard Maddie Meyers from Kirkwood, Missouri. The event was part of the festivities leading up to the Indianapolis 500.
