6 Year-Old Would Have Drowned If Not For These Good People

Two brothers saved a drowning 6-year-old boy from a lake in Margate, Florida last month. Alexander Castelo jumped into the water after hearing cries for help and seeing the child floating face down. His brother Jonathan assisted in pulling the boy from the lake while Alexander performed chest compressions he learned as a Boy Scout. "A lot of vomit, a lot of fluid started coming out of his mouth, but he was completely unresponsive," Alexander recalled. Their sister Amy called 911 while their wives Jessica and Theresa relayed information to dispatchers. The family had just attended a baptism before the rescue. "I believe that God allowed us to be there to help this kid," Alexander said. The child remained in critical condition as of September 29th.
