Man Arranges Meal Deliveries For TSA Agents During Shutdown

Mike Scofield of Omaha, Nebraska, has been organizing meal deliveries for TSA agents at Eppley Airfield during the ongoing government shutdown. He revived an effort he began during the previous shutdown, collecting about $4-thousand from roughly 40 donors to provide weekly meals from local restaurants. The goal is to support TSA employees whose pay has been disrupted and to show appreciation for their continued work under stress. Scofield has pledged that any donations not used before the government reopens will be given to a food bank or pantry.
